Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code that can be calculated (using a serial number ) anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C 7000000 + + + + on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing. (Note ...not beginning with CL.)
If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio.

I have another question. Do I still have to go to a dealer to have it unlock, even though I have the code? Somebody I know try to say that I need to go to dealer just to unlock the radio before I can even put the code.
The reason I asked the above question was because I sold the blaupunkt that used to be in my GTO (before I bought other radio for it) to someone and totally forgot about the lock issue. So, the buyer went to the dealer even after I gave the code to him and claimed that the radio unit was locked and only a dealer can unlock it. He also said that the code only good after it's unlocked. Is that true? Can't we just unlock it by our self as long as we have the code?
