hi please can somebody help retreive my code from renault megan 2005,,disconnected battery to have starter replaced now lost code,would very much appreciate if somebody can help,thanks.Upload

thanks reg rooster,problem i got now is that i tried another code earlier which i thought might be right but after input it says "ERROR",,,,my question is do i need to leave it powered on for a while before i can enter correct code? thanks.

yes leave it turned on.
note the radio does not lockout after a wrong code entry it only doubles the time to wait before
the next retry...if a wrong code is entered it will display error then after the delay should display "0000")

Sorry.......this is insufficient information

The radio has to be removed from the dashboard

Then quote the 14 character SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
RN* * * * * * * * * * * * found stamped in the metal casing.

Also quote the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes
