For Renault Scenic you'd usually use the steering wheel remote stalk to enter code. Here's both methods:
STEERING WHEEL STALK CONTROL
Switch Radio On - Display Shows " 0000 " with the 1st digit flashing Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit Press " " On The Stalk Control To Enter Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit Press " " On The Stalk Control To Enter Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit Press " " On The Stalk Control To Enter Rotate " Thumbwheel " For Correct Digit If the correct code number is now shown Press And Hold " " Until A Beep Is Heard
OR FOR NO STEERING CONTROL press the first preset button repeat for the 1st digit display, second button repeat for the 2nd digit display third button for 3rd digit forth button for 4th digit then press buttons 6 OR 5 to store. for 10 seconds
