My '08 version icon 12 is blown... it still works.. 2 days ago it just totally gave away, it makes a screwed up sound when it hits high notes and when its not even hitting very much.. its pretty bad. Tell me your price and what ya can do.
dude reconing is very easy. im sure you can do it yourself. just take your time and make sure your shims are tight. ask ssa about buying some glue when you buy the recone.

Can't agree more. I messed up a few subs myself because I overlooked this. Also, make sure you're comfortable with cutting up the dust cap in order to put the shims in.
ok.. ive never torn a sub or ripped it up before but i guess i can try.. i watched some vids on youtube and it dont seem to tough, only problem ill have is soddering as i dont have one just laying around my house, however i can probably just have a box builder friend i have help me out, plus it will be a lot cheaper to just buy a kit instead of having to ship it THERE ANDDDDDD BAAACCCKK 35 each way
