Looking at these 2 head units for my next setup. I've had experience with jvc and i love them.. I also really like the looks of both of these. and i know i know looks can be deceiving.. but i think either one will be good. Just want to see what anyone else would suggest. the JVC is about $215 on amazon and the pioneer about $450.. yea big price difference. only will pay that much for the pioneer because of the nice looking screen but any great head units you'd suggest for around $400 though? i'm not sure if my subs and everything else really matters to what head unit but if it does then just ask. thanks

The Pioneer, definitely. Also, it can be had for $228 shipped from ebay (and probably cheaper, too) http://cgi.ebay.com/PIONEER-MVH-P8200-CAR-MEDIA-A-V-IPOD-USB-MP3-SD-3-LCD-/37037 9590053?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Car_Audio_In_Dash_Receivers&hash=item563c5809a5

As fun as JVC headunits are (and that one in particular), they just aren't built as well. You'll find that the reliability is more important in the long run than the gimmicky features. For that much money, though, why not get a flip out screen head unit?
