ok wicked.. i got your email, but im still confused on the where abouts of these pieces of sheet metal? am i supposed to be going through the back seat? like where the trunk and back seat meet, there are like these 2 kinda triangular shaped plastic/carpeted pieces are. is it behind there? or where?

Pics will help.

Ok, the rear deck cover is in the way and needs to come off.

The following things will need to be removed to get the cover off.

Remove the rear seat (both top and bottom), side supports(blue), cross braces(red) and the top plastic trim panel(green).
Upload

Now you can remove the c-pillar covers, 3rd brake light and trunk lock(circle). The long rectangle is the piece from the previous pic.
Upload

Once all that stuff is out of the way and the rear deck cover is removed you will see spot welds on the sides of the rear deck in this area.
Upload

Cut the spot welds and lift up on the rear deck. It is some really flimsy chit so it will bend up, right out of the way.

Slide box in, push rear deck back down and replace the spot welds.

Big box in the trunk of a little car.

Woot!

Black Jack taco sounds like something/ someone you would pick up in downtown Nashville, by the stadium and the T/A truckstop!

That sucks about your job man, good luck with finding another.

I have always preferred subs firing forward into the cabin with the box sealed from the rest of the trunk. Also, keep in mind that a really big box won't leave much room at the back of the trunk for the subs (if you decide to fire them towards the rear of the car). My box touches the back of the trunk so I had no choice but to fire them into the cabin.

Keep us posted man!
