also, sorry if its a dumb question, but would I be able to run it fine with a stock battery? im putting it in a 98 ford windstar with 4ga wiring.

should be fine, but I would use 1/0 just to be safe.

haha FML, i just put that 4ga in not even a month ago... im gonna wire it to 1ohm on 2 DVC kicker cvrs, would that not drop my voltage or anything like that?

cant really tell you. idk what size your stock alt is. I'd say at least do the big 3.

AQ1200 only excepts 4 ga.power/ground. run 4 ga. after fuse or trim 0 guage to fit.

No problems with my AQ1200D, great amp. 4ga is plenty for that amp, 1/0 would be way overkill unless you plan on getting a bigger amp in the future.

Installed a few, great amps.

4 gauge wire is fine for it. With an amp that size big 3 won't give much of a benefit unless you're putting in a HO alt.

You won't need 0ga to be safe, that was an incorrect statement. 4ga is just fine for that amount of power.

as M.S. said, you also won't need 0ga for the big three either, unless running multiple amps, i.e. more power.
