How many watts are you feeding the Ava? Not familiar with that amp.

Those are nice.

thats the new line..Sound concept

I would get something like this,

http://www.usspeaker.com/beyma%20pro6mi-1.htm

and run them off the Aud,
Then get a small amp, or just HU and run some quality tweeters.

I find that when I get tweeters in a set, they tend to blow.. Also I feel the x-over is not the best, in most cases at that price level anyway.

Higher end sets tend to be more precise at filtering freqs and sound better.

just my feelings on that.

btw, I run the PG TI elites mids with the PG crossover and use Boston 757 tweeters with the PG crossover. The original PG tweets poped twice, Havent had any problems with the Boston's. Same amp same settings.

And I would also feed them beymas like 85% of the rated power. They seem to not like the full rms.

As far as I know Beyma is 100% independent and still in Spain. MiTek, the company that owns MTX, Xtant, StreetWires, Coustic etc., has nothing to do with Beyma.

My brother talked to a rep from mtx that told him that beyma was part of mtx.

from MTX

No, they are from Spain.
MTX Audio is part of the Mitek Corporation.
Here is a link to see Mtx's sister companies.

few locals run 2-3 of the sundown 3000ds.. nice amps..

would this be a straight trade or what do you propose? still kinda looking for some cash so i can buy more amps hehe

the sundown might be easier to sell tho since more people are spl rather than sq
