http://audioforum.termpro.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=28;t=001057;p=0

Hey guys, I am new to this site, but I was told to bring my amp over here and there would be a better chance of it selling.

I have plenty of refs over on caraudio.com's forum, where my name is SeanDub.

Here is what I posted over there:

"Okay, I'm thinking I need a little more power, so I'm looking to get an amp that'll do around 4 - 4.5kw. So, I'm going to post up my 2k6 here and see if there is any interest. I'm thinking about picking up an IA 40.1, pair of 20.1s, pair of AQ 2200s, Memphis 4kw, AB 400.1, AB 500.1, Stetsom 7kd, etc, etc, etc. Therefore, I'd be willing to do a trade + cash for one of those amps if anyone is interested.

There have been some doubts about this amp, and questions about it's reliability for daily use. I can assure you that I have used this amp daily for approximately six months, and I have not had any issues. Also, about 5 of those were at 0.5 ohm, and the other was at 2 ohm. Below are the Stetsom ratings and my own personal clamp test results. The only issue I've had with it is that it is kind of loud. The fan inside of it runs loud enough to be heard when the music is playing at very low levels, but can easily be droned out, and also it can be covered up if placed directly behind a seat.

Ratings from Stetsom:

RMS Power @ 13.8V <0,9% THD Mono 2 Ohms: 3000 Watts
Mono 4 Ohms: 2200 Watts
Mono 8 Ohms: 1200 Watts
RMS Power @ 12.6V <0,9% THD Mono 2 Ohms: 2600 Watts
Mono 4 Ohms: 2150 Watts
Mono 8 Ohms: 1050 Watts
Minimal Input Impedance: 0,2V
Total Harmonic Distortion: < 0,9 % THD
Signal to Noise: > 90 dB
Crossover Frequency LOW PASS: 50 to 15 KHz
Frequency Response: (FULL RANGE) 20 Hz to 15 KHz (-3dB)
Input Tension: 9 to 16V
Power Consumption: 3,3 to 240 A
Dimensions : 70 x 280 x 330 mm

My clamp results:

Basically I just spent an hour trying to host or attach this **** excel file.
I can't do it, so if someone would like to do it for me, I would greatly appreciate it, or I will email it to everyone.
I tried it as a Word doc, but couldn't get it under the size restrictions.
I tried it as a .bmp (Paint), but couldn't beat those restrictions either.
And I couldn't find a site to host an excel file.

Price: I'm looking for around $600 shipped + PP fees.

Let the lowballing begin."

As far as my clamp results, I also posted a few of the highlights from the testing:

When wired at 0.5 ohm nominal:

2924 watts @ 0.95 ohm
2900 watts @ 0.99 ohm

When wired at 2.0 ohm nominal:

1863 watts @ 4.57 ohm
1247 watts @ 6.74 ohm

Low pass frequency crossover 35Hz~300Hz
Subsonic filter 10Hz~60Hz
Bass boost @ 45Hz 0~18dB
Phase shift control 0~180 degree
Frequency response 10Hz~350Hz (+/- 1dB)
T.H.D @ 4 ohm <0.1%
Efficiency @ 4 ohm 86%

I thought Stesom was really poor for daily listening and overheated a lot?

I've read that a few times but I can not confirm it as I have not used them before but I hear they area absolute beasts for competitions burping wise.

My brother actually runs two of the 3250's strapped. They seem like solid amps.

And Lowlife I dont own one of those Stetsom 2k6d's. They are too expensive for me. And I did hear about some issues daily Mike but I never checked to see if those issues were legit. But I know some guys who would know. So id make sure everything was ok there before I even considered buying one.
