I have a Kenwood Excelon KAC-X1R amp. I am trying to upgrade my subs and need some major help. I have a Mustang so not much trunk space. I need some serious suggestions on which setup to run. 1 12 or 2 and which ones. Thanks guys
1. How much money are you willing to spend on subs/amp/box. 2. What type of sound are you looking for sq (straight sound quality), SQL (sound quality but gets loud), or SPL (as loud as you can get). 3. Rough guess on how much box space you will be able to fit, maybe you can upfire a single 15.
Well I plan on keeping the Kenwood amp. As far as price goes, I can get a custom made box for less than 100. More than likely it will be sealed because of the amount of space. SQ doesnt really matter. Im looking for more SPL. I dont have much experience with different brands either. Price for sub(s) is 400 and 500 max.
