When they give you that rating of 600watts that is the power the amp gives right after it gets struck by lightning. A while back my buddy ran a pyramid amp on a Phoenix Gold sub and man did that thing light on fire and smoke out his car. |

Please, do tell. Get the 12", it will louder than the 10" (more efficient due to more cone area). Some people seem to think you have to power a sub with the most power it can take, which is not true at all. |

I've heard 18s sound better than 10s. Go with the 12, there's no way to hurt it by underpowering it unless you set the gains on your amp wrong. |
