Rca on stock head unit

I want to hook up my amp to my stock head unit, but there are no rca outputs on the stock unit. Does anyone know where to hook up the rca's? Also, where would I hook up the remote wire??

Can someone please help!
Thank you

you will need a line converter (rca adapter). your remote wire will hook up to your power antennae or ignition wire. you can hook up the adapter to your rear deck speakers if you have some. if not then you will have to hook it up to the wire coming from the deck

if the amp has speaker level inputs, use those. that way no remote will be needed in most cases, as the amp will then auto-sense the speaker voltage and use this to turn on the amp

GlassWolf,

I have a kx800.2 kicker amp. Is this one of those cases where I don't need a remote wire? Also where do I put the speaker wire, which is used as a rca cable, to the stock head unit??

Your help would be much appreciated.
