so my lady bought me 2 type r's... anyone have any good box dimensions for them.. and how would a rockford punch 2400watt amp push with them

i think type r's only call from like 7-800w rms... that rockford is a bit much..unless its 2400 max and like 1200rms then that would be slighty underpowering em but i dont believe so

ok yeah that amp isnt 2400 rms but what are the vc configs...

you can wire em both up and get 400rms at 2ohms on each channel...heres wiring guide

well i have an infiniti i30.. and with it over powering it i def know it wont.. but do u think that amp is puttin 1100 watt rms. i was thinking a lil bit more. cause i know the make a good amp. and its an older punch not a new one.. plus cant i bridge the amp to them or will that mess it all up?

The only reason you should bridge an amp is to meet vc configuration on the sub. We really need the voice coil config of the sub, I'm guessing they are dual 4 ohm?

Also, do you know what size alt your car has? I googled it and found some said 110amp and some 125 amp. This also is important so we can see how big of an amp you can run.
