Congrats on the purchase, I have that same sub and it's the best one I've ever owned.

I would NOT put that in a prefab sealed box though. You don't realize how powerful that sub is until you play it. It could very easily blow apart that box.

That would definetly not be cool when you damage you're subs suspension due to playing with no air resistance from a blown box.

seeems like u leapt b4 looking - u should be aware most 15s need around 4cuft of volume to perform well ......

Take out your rear seat and slide the box in from the cabin of the vehicle into the trunk.

^^ .. measure your trunk opening if you took the seat out, thats how i had to install my box for my 15"s .. you can get 4+ cu.ft with a 16" high box.. but its a tight fit for the sub

i'll measure today, if mark potts website was up i could just look there since i had to measure for that tcab which takes up my whole trunk

lol so now i measured
dunno how measurements are supposed to go but here goes(going off the tcab that's in there):

14.5 tall x 26" long x 26" wide

sufficient room for the 9515?

Well if you have a 15'' sub unless you plan on mounting it in a shallow box it's not going to work or you'll have to go with some other crazy design.

ok so work with me, i'm still learning, seems i learn something new every day. how do i determine how much cu feet that is?

that's just the current box in there, my trunk is taller then that by about 6inches but if i'm going throu the trunk latch or w/e , the max. i can get in was 16inches, haven't take my back seat out yet to see what i can there

''''
14.5 tall x 26" long x 26" wide ''''

using 3\4 mdf that about 4.52cuft b4 sub & port displacement

should be ok if ur using aeroports since those take up less space than slotports ....
