Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Northwest PA Post Number: 3457 Registered: Jul-06 | Depends on what "better" is. Equivalent models of those two brands will have about the same amount of power. They both float at about the same voltage. Odyssey batteries are built with toughness are the primary goal...... good for putting under the hood. Kinetiks cost slightly less I think. |

Gold Member Username: HdubbTeam Revolution Post Number: 2689 Registered: Nov-04 | the stingers do release power and charge faster which is great for comps. but honestly i think id run an agm deepcycle battery for daily. have more storage capacity but also take a good amount of time to fully charge. imo but odessy and kinetik are both good choices and im sure youd be happy with either |
Platinum Member Username: Bestmankind-apem Post Number: 15486 Registered: Oct-05 | nsb 90 is a beast. it would put both of the batteries you mentioned to shame. if you can make room to fit one under the hood the you are good to go. make sure you train it well. |

Gold Member Username: HdubbTeam Revolution Post Number: 2690 Registered: Nov-04 | some classes for comps limit bat size per catagory and or how many bats. the rage now is 16v charging systems. |
Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Northwest PA Post Number: 3471 Registered: Jul-06 | Northstar batteries are GREAT, for competition that is. They aren't meant to be used in vehicles, and aren't designed to stand up the environment under the hood of a car. They're great if mounted inside though. Hunterw: Odyssey and Stinger batteries are exactly the same thing in a slightly different case with different labels. One is not better than the other, they are the same battery. |
Gold Member Username: HdubbTeam Revolution Post Number: 2691 Registered: Nov-04 | if i said they werent it was a error i know hey are they same as well as the tsunami bats same thing. dont mean to mis lead if it seemed if i was comparing two it was the kinetik and stinger. |
