Yea, I built it as close to kicker specs that would still fit in my hatch. 1.9 cuft per chamber, seperated chambers, and in each chamber a 13.5" x 2.75" x 20.5" slot port with big rounded edges for excellent airflow and minimum turbulence.
It's running a boss ch3000d at 1ohm, which is supposed to be 2200rms. I don't care how much people rip on boss, until you've owned one you don't know what you're talking about.
What were you metered on before? What meter are you getting measured on tonight? I know that you said that it pounds and that it is an SPL box. That being said, how do you think it sounds? Is your purpose with the system to compete?
I'd like to enter a comp because I think it'd be fun. Without the ports plugged the bass response is really slow HA, but that's alright I knew it'd be like that when I designed the box.

HAHAHA... Dude, stop talking before you make yourself look any more retarded.
We need pics of you and the TL score for this to be believable
i have 2 jl 15wo wired to a 2 channel kickerzr360 amp, i'm not sure of the wattage, 1200 i think, they are loud but i feel the w0 are pretty outdated, i want 2 12s but also want to achieve gr8 spl, suggestions? what 2 avoid? and what type of amp to get with the subs i.e. mono or 2-channel, also my subs are in my 2004 dodge neon, so i got a small trunk, i can barely fit the 15s in there
Upper 140s is very impressive for a setup as described.
'I don't care how much people rip on boss, until you've owned one you don't know what you're talking about." Lol.Boss is complete trash.Although I have to say my friend's Line Out Converter from Boss works as opposed to a Pyramid one =/
Yea...I have to get metered too now.I cut my port down and now I think my four 15s are hitting in the mid 160s.Oh and I blew something apart in my door on Saturday and now it sounds horrible.
