I'm looking for a good 12" to push with my diamond audio 1200.1. I just blew my brahma mkI with is and I was looking for something that will outperform that in sq and spl.

Actually its not blown. The wire that goes from the terminal to the sub broke away. I'm not sure what its called. It might be the coil.

Idk. It wasn't turned up all that loud when it cut out. I just don't have a soldering gun or anything and the frame or spider thing, whatever it's called, is cracked pretty bad from when it was shipped to me. So I might just have to get another.

I'll think about that. Anyone else have any offers? Does anyone know if an FI audio Q would outperform a Brahma?

pics of said problem? I've never heard a brahma but I can tell you that you would love a Q. Its loud enough and the SQ is superb. NEVER misses a beat.

What is the fill stuff you can put in your box to make the sub think it's bigger called? I heard you can use pillow stuffing too, is that true?

Poly-Fil, and yes...it will make the box act like its alil bigger.

That Brahma is going to be hard to beat. I had an MKII 10", it was the most amazing sub i have ever heard. In 1.6cuft tuned to 34hz it sounded like a drum in my back seat w/ rock music.

So you don't think the FI Q will compare and I should just try to get it fixed? It is the MKI. And did you mean that you can use pillow stuffing too?

I have a guy wondering if I want to buy his FI Q. You think it would even be comparable to the Brahma?

There's some 12" mags over on caraudio.com and I think a couple of them are brand new in box.

Personally, I'd go with a 12" Crystal CMPX2. But I own a 15 and there's very little that can even come close.
