Silver Member Username: JtownPost Number: 138 Registered: Mar-07 | I knew that the sub(12") would be loud as well as drop low, but gawd d@mn!!!!! I recently got my 12" SSD dual 2, copper coil but was waiting on my box and amp, actually still waiting on my permanent amp. But I went ahead and popped it in my flaired enclosure and put in on an old kx120.2 and turned the car on. Now, I can't really turn it up too loud, because the amp is a lil b!tch and shuts off at around not even half volume. But radio isn't bad for bass, and since my ipod recently went out of commision, I had to burn a CD and play some bass tunes off of that. I put on Hypnotize by Young Jeezy, and holy sh!t I can't wait for my RD Audio 800.1 to get here!!!!! Even with 150-250 watts the sound is just solid, deep, and clear. I'm slightly afraid of what it will do to my blazer when the real amp comes in. I'm pretty sure it is louder than my 3 12"s I had before, or at least will definately be. Excited. |
