Finally ordered a battery.

I have been doing high 149's w/ my voltage dropping to ~9.6v Wonder what i will do w/ this D31 about 2ft from my amp? *humm* This should be fun.

I stay well over 12v when I drive, I listen to my bass at a "reasonable" level wink-wink. I should have the batt by mid-late next week.

Post Number: 2648 Registered: Mar-06	Posted on Friday, May 04, 2007 - 23:26 GMT Some amps can take low voltage and extra voltage no problem, most of those amps are made specifically for competitions tho.. but are used in some daily setups as well but typically you dont want do drop under 12.5V if your car is running expeccialy, not only for the fact of your amps safty but also for your cars electrical system.. and draining your battery under its floater voltage alot also causes the life of the battery to decrease alot faster like a optima yellow top i heard the avg. life of it is upto 100drains\recharges and its basically dead. But as long as you dont drop the voltage below the floater alot or by much you ussualy wont have a issue. Hopfully with this new battery you should stay 12.5+ should dish out a lil extra power for you ;)
