the difference in these two products is the ohmage apparently, 2 vs 4... but whats the significance between a difference in ohms?

your wiring options for your amp...

a dual 4 ohm sub will get you a 2 ohm load
a dual 2 ohm sub will get you a 1 ohm load or 4 ohm load

lol...you have to match the subs rms(continuous power rating) to the correct amount of ohms...

for example, say a sub has 500rms and is a dual 4 ohm sub...that would mean you want an amp that does 500rms or a little more at 2 ohms

or say a sub has 500rms and is a dual 2 ohm sub...that would mean you want an amp that does 500rms or a little more at 1 ohms
