What is the best sound quality 15" sub available for under $500. I want it to be louder than one 12" L7 in a sealed box, but that shouldn't be too hard with a quality ported box with a 15". Thanks! I appreciate it!

I was kind of thinking the Q. For $500, I would be pretty close to being to buy two. How many watts would you suggest for the Q? I know it says 1000, but anyone have a different opinion?

I would probably go with a kicker amp, so I was thinking a 1000.1 if I get one, or a 2500.1 for two. I think I would be fine with either.

The Q would be plenty loud for me, and I heard the BL is more of an SPL sub, and that's not what I want.

OK Paul, I understand you like them, but do you think it is worth getting one 15" Mag over two 15" Qs? They would be sililar price...

Personally, you can get more for your $$ over a MAG. It's just a matter of preference when $$ isn't an option. Heck, we're all rich, right?
