Bronze Member Username: HgihkcinPost Number: 53 Registered: Sep-05 | is its x max 52mm one way or total, if one way holy crap what the hell, my stroker pro is only 40 one way.... and then if so whats the point of my 3rd spider over their two, my dual layer magnet of the same sizes over their single one, and my 8 gage inputs over their 10 gage, and my 2500 over its 2000 |
Silver Member Username: Fi_car_audioHades, NV Post Number: 103 Registered: Sep-06 | nick high... lol. Dont look at it in terms of those absolutes-2 spiders vs 3, this vs that. The XXX uses a single stack of magnets, although thicker than most magnets (that is actually 4 pie wedges to make 1 large ring). The surface area of the magnet is probably greater than that of the Stroker Pro as well... there is LOTs more to the design of the sub than what you are looking at. And its Xmax is one way (as all Xmax should be measured). Im sure the Stroker Pro is a great driver as well. Do you need 52mm of Xmax? Probably not... then again most still cant use 40 either ;) |
