I have a sony explode 1200 watt 1 channel amp,and 2 15" dvc memphis subs.the subs are not wired together.each sub is wired + to- + to -,and + to+ - to - to the amp.it sounds great but goes into protection when i cut it up.how do i wire these subs to this amp
mis read, the ohm load is to much the amp internally bridges the channels that you used, if you have the subs hooked up to a 2 ohm load per terminal the amp reads it as 1 ohm, to much for the amp, that amp is prob only stable to 2 ohms, and if that is the case you would need 2 single 4 or 2 dual 2 ohm subs.
