I am working on installing an audiovox remote starter on my truck. It is a 1995 dodge ram 3500, with a diesel engine (Cummins). I have everything completed but i cant find anything for a tach signal. I tried the actual tach wire but it dont work. any ideas?
Do you have a multimeter to test the tach wire with? If so, check to see if the tach signal is AC or DC. The Audiovox alarms will only use DC voltages. If it is AC, let me know and I will try to help you further.
