Bazooka Subs EL8A vs BTA6100 vs other Bazooka

I've already got the EL8A new in box which is a 50watt (30w rms) powered sub but I'm thinking this may not be enough power. Would the more powerful 6" Bazooka with 100w sound better for volume and rock/metal music?
