there are louder subs but for the money you paid, is going to be hard. You need to tell us a budget to work with. DD subs can get louder and sound way better.

Orion H2, Pioneer Premier 3000SPL (I have heard two 10" Pioneer Premiers in a car hit harder than 4 15" Kicker L7's in a suburban, Its all in the Amp) and Pioneer Premier 5000SPL series(world record holder for SPL and the first sub to burst the 180 db barrier), RE Audio MT & MX series, Elemental Designs K/O v.2, DD Digital Designs 9500 and 9900 series, Fi Audio, and even JL Audio.

yes they are in a ported box, Right now i have to replace one of the subs cuz It blew becuase it had a rip on the rubber outer part and i played it like that for a good 2 months and it finally went, But im still playing it until i get a new sub but only thing is now all i smell is burning smell from the blown sub. So i'm hoping that wouldn't damamge anything in my car for playing 1 good sub and 1 blown sub until i get something new
