whats good ppl??

I have a Kenwood Deck forgot the model # ne ways it has one preout REAR(SUB)i have a sub amp hooked to it. and another one that says front im not usin the amp on the deck im amping my interior speakers.and when i connect the rcas to the front it is not as loud as when i put it on rear and it's all staticy whats the problem? did the RCAs go bad?? and is there anything i can buy?! or do i need a deck?
i was also looking at the Pioneer DEH-P7800MP cause it has 3 Sets of preouts.is this a good headunit??

older Kenwood decks i've read had problems with the RCA's going out. not sure if yours falls into thta category. have you tried messing with your gains on the amp?? mabye the front gains aren't as high as the rear and whats why one is louder then the other?? but if one works and the other is staticy, it kinda sounds like your amp...

the 7800 is a great unit. its the same as the 780 btw. and if you don't want all the flash is had, the 880 is your no frills SQ unit.
