so heres a hypathetical for everyone to look at. lets say i have 20 square inches of port area and its a 8 inch long port. if i switched to 2 10 square inch ports would the length of each then be reduced or would they each have to be 16 inches long. also what is the reccomended port area for 2 infinity Perfect 12.1s
well it shows a diagram with 1 sub in a 1.75 cu ft box with 1 4 inch port 12.33 inches long but this tunes to 32 hz. but for 2 subs in a 3.5 cu ft box i should 2 of thoes ports to get 32 hz, correct? Will it hurt to make the ports wider though cuz i heard the more port area the more spl? and yea i realize that if i do this i will have to make them longer to keep the tune. but will it hurt my sq or somthing?
