i just installed this system in my cadillac yesterday and for some reason it is not hitting as hard as it should.. i have not had a chance to look at how the subwoofers are wired so that may be the reason. also can it be because i have some cheap boxes? any suggestions.. thanx
i got all four L5's . the amp, and a 1.5 capacitor for 500 bucks..

OMG ur joking u spent 500 on 4 l5s??? damn im sry u got ripped out the @$$....MAX power has nuttin to do with power output consider tht an imaginary number tht u can NEVER reach...wut max is a tool used by dealers to make u buy it..so ur screwed thier is no way tht ur gettin tht power....if i were u i would return were ever u bought tht or see if the guy can give u the money back or sumthing....tru box makes a diff but thier is no need for 4 subs two 12" or 15" subs will be fine.......

L5s just basically suck dude im sorry... consider buying a couple L7s or soem CVX or sumthin L5s just blows... not to meant planet audio pretty much sucks as well... u probably over paid for the amp and def overpaid for the subs....you can find L5s on ebay for 100 bucks buy a bigger amp if you expect those subs to hit harder

charlie, listen to everyone else, you got ripped off! l5's are the worst subs kicker makes, and that amp is a piece of sh!t to. either return them or try selling them, that's your best bet.
