I wouldn't worry too much about skipping because, at least in his case, once your at speed and hitting waves, you can't hear much over the wind and water anyway. That Clarion is a marine deck, but you can go with a standard deck if you've got a cover for it or if it's going in a cabin and won't catch any spray. If it stands a chance of getting wet you're best to go with a marine deck since their inner components are sealed. Crutchfield has a whole marine section, here it is. |
