From volume levels 1-12, the volume is all the same level.. once you raise it higher than 12 though, everytime the bass in a song hits, the stereo makes a scary static-crackling type of sound! and if i raise it anywhere close to volume 20, when one of those static things occurs, the whole system shuts down and has to reload.
