I got pulled over tonight because my subs were too loud....whats the legal limit in Missouri?

in minnesota the music is too loud if you can hear it outside the car, LOL!!!

yeah i got that same problem i have 2 courts for that problem only 1 18 inch sx with 600 they heard from 2 blocks away they took my truck and made walk home i had to pay 680 to get my truck back plus i have to pay 1000 for the court

Well i got pulled over by a stated!ck...and he didnt have anyway of measureing how loud my sound was... he just told me that if he can hear my music when he is sitting in his car then he is gonna pull you over...but i think to be able to pull someone over don't you have to measure how loud it is?

no, like I said im about 75% sure the law in MN is if you here it outside the car, its illegal.
It could be like that there too. something about a public nuisance or something

depends where it is, like if your in a residental neighboor hood at night or something they don't have to measure it.

here in Atlanta the rule is more that 25 feet away , but factory speakrs can do that !!

in wisconsin it goes by city. where i live its if you can hear the music 75 feet from the car its called noise polution or they can get ya with a sound ordinance. $hit head cops.

60 feet here in Ohio. Cop pulled me over and asked me if I ever been stopped for my music being to loud, wich I have not, gave me a hard time and threatened to go look it up in his computer, I said go ahead. he comes back with an attitued and asks if i know what the noise ordinance is, I said I have no idea, he goes 60 feet, and If I hear you again, your getting a ticket and its gnna cost you $250. So Im assuming it varys state to state in terms of fines and distance.
