It's unfair to compare a pair of 15" subs, getting like 25,000 watts in short bursts, to six 12's, that he can probably use as a daily driver, and have good sounding music, too. I have six 12's in my firebird (and a 13W7), and people are always like "oh well you should hit way more than a little over 150 dB, because so and so did this with just one 12", regardless of the fact that I'm using only about 3 kilowatts, vs their 20 kilowatts, heh. Also - my scores are about 1.2 dB louder actually, with my driver side window (assuming the mic is on my passenger side) about 1/3 of the way down. If all the windows are up in a lot of cases, it can actually hurt your score, similar to a sealed box that's too small.. (limited amount of airspace and all) That's why with windows down etc, a lot of people will actually gain a DB or three. |

There arent many competitors doing those numbers in stock classes. As for the Kicker csx's doin 169's, yeah I don't buy it. But i didnt intend to sound like a jerk, sorry about that.
