Gold Member Username: Chaunb3400Huntsville, Alabama U.S. Post Number: 6423 Registered: Jul-05 | comp, is around w7 sq and output wise comp x, is around old XXX in sq and output |
Silver Member Username: MadeupnamePost Number: 196 Registered: Sep-05 | w6 |
Gold Member Username: PelonaCalifornia Post Number: 1177 Registered: Dec-05 | so ur saying the old xxx is louder and sounds better than the w7? and is the comp x like a pure spl sub like lets say an l7 and the comp a sql like the w7 or ti? |
Gold Member Username: Jonathan_fGA USA Post Number: 5900 Registered: May-04 | "so ur saying the old xxx is louder and sounds better than the w7?" Throw a coin in the air, they perform about the same. W7 is built better, but it also costed more. New one, there's no telling. At most it'll be around 2-3db louder than the old XXX, and from the engineering of it I'd guess that's at the expense of SQ. |
Silver Member Username: DelsolePost Number: 319 Registered: Feb-05 | i like the w6v2 not to loud but it sounds awsome just my opinion though |
Gold Member Username: Chaunb3400Huntsville, Alabama U.S. Post Number: 6424 Registered: Jul-05 | "and is the comp x like a pure spl sub like lets say an l7 and the comp a sql like the w7 or ti?" nope comp x is an sql sub, super loud and still very musical |
Gold Member Username: PelonaCalifornia Post Number: 1187 Registered: Dec-05 | but does the comp x have a little less or equal sq than the comp but its just louder? |
Gold Member Username: Chaunb3400Huntsville, Alabama U.S. Post Number: 6426 Registered: Jul-05 | its almost like the w6(comp) vs w7(comp x) sq, the w6 sounds better. but the w7 still sounds really good |

I just got my Viper d2500.1 back today, and the matching 400.2s I cant wait till install time... and dont worry many pics will be taken duringthe install and buildup. |
