any one used these speakers i am going to have two 1000rms subs in the rear so just looking for good high and mid range speakers

Stay away from sony except for affordable relatively reliable HU. Go with infinity. Most people like them.

really, i'd stay from anyhting sony, except they do make some nice big screen tv's. as far as car audio goes, they are almost the bottom of the barrel.

thanks for the advice if i get the infinities should i get two way three way whats the difference and do i need a seperate amp for them too my deck is 52 watss x 4 channels two preamp outs and one line in

I'd stick with two ways. 3, 4, howevermany ways are goofy marketing gimmicks IMO.

Nothing wrong with using an HU to run spkrs, but an amp always helps. Power = volume and clarity. A decent 50 x 2 (rms) amp would make a very noticable difference.

BTW - your HU isn't 52x4, that's the max power rating and really doesn't mean much. It's 17x4 rms.

go with an infinity reference 2 way. Good speaker for the price.

Absolutely, inifinty refernce is a good speaker.
