Right now i have 2 audiobahn aw1200q subs in a custom vented box pushed by a audiobahn a8002t amp and its pretty loud on the inside but the outside of the car sounds like i have 1 10" sub is it the brand(audiobahn) or do i need to add something?

i think audiobahn's are like that. i used to have 1 audiobahn aw1208t powered by kicker kx1200.1. inside my car was loud but when i step out of my car you can barely hear or feel it.

Mostly likely its all the sound dampening inside of these newer vehicles.
What kind of Car do u drive?

My Buick Lesabre has alot of insulation.
And these newer cars are even doing more...
Like that new Buick Lucerne; they advertise it, as being QUITE TUNED, with the MR Aachen HEAD dummy. Supposed to be sound proof in there.

lol

Joseph, All I have got to say is...get new subs. I have two 12" Audiobahn Eternals and I hate them. I just haven't had the money to get anything else. I wouldn't suggest Audiobahn to anyone. If you have the money, buy some new subs.

for you not to be able to hear it outside with the windows up is ideal.

It's not the amp, those amps perform. It's most likely the subs.
