I'm currently in the process of building a box for the trunk of my car. I was wondering if it makes a difference (ex. spl wise) if the box takes up most of the area (big as possible) in the trunk compared to if it has a little bit more space left over (the box isn't as big as possible). The box will be slot ported and I will have enough space for the port to fire out regardless of the size of the box. Thanks
Hah, well I'll have a little trouble here since I don't own an amp at the moment but plan on purchasing either the JBL GTO1200.1 or the Kicker ZX1500.1 when I can find a price for it. I'm also waiting for my car which should be back in my posession shortly (1997 Acura CL2.2). I had the max dimensions I could use down somewhere but they were conveniently misplaced...so off the top of my head I'd have to say 42" deep, 36" wide, 18" tall, give or take a few inches here and there...
