I am running out of amp space in my truck, and I have two infinity 6/9's and I have a 65two channel, or a 250 watt bridged amp slot available. I would like them to be closer to the 100 watt range. Can you series wire two 4 ohm speakers and bridge them to the amp. That would make it like a 8 ohm speaker load on a two ohm load for a grand total of 4 ohm. Am I making sense here?
If you bridge your amp like that, you'll have no channel seperation and much higher distortion. Each speaker will put out the same signal and won't sound good.
