I got 2 10 inch subs. They will be here on friday, and I wanna pick everything up before then. What kind of wood should I get? What size do I make the box? Also what kind of carpet do I want? I am going to make 2 seperate boxes for them, put one of the left and one on the right of my trunk. Then I am going to put pexi glass between them and put my amp on that. Think this will work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You have to tell us the amp/sub specs for us to tell you what kind of box you need. Usualy boxes are made out of 3/4 MDF (Medium Density Fiber)boards, you can get them at your local Home Depot or what-not. As far as carpet goes, I guess jsut go with whatever matches your trunk, make it look pretty .
