Okay, so i have two 2+2 ohm subs. Im going to wire them so they present one ohm each, equaling two. Do i wire them so that they are each one ohm and then run them to my amp? My amp has two outputs for speakers, but its a mono class d amp. Mtx thunder 801d. would this do what i need it to do.. which is present a 2 ohm load for my amp?

wire the voice coils in parallel and then the subs in series. that should give you an impedance of 2 ohm

haha i know how to wire them to get the ohm load i need, i just don't know if the way i want to connect it to my amp if it will get the right load. I know that im going to wire them to one ohm each, and then run each of them to the two outputs on the amp. I think it will give me the right load, since it will be 2 ohms on the one channel, since class d amps are only one channel.. even if they have more than one output spot.
