Help. Amps not working.

Ok, my old battery was no good so I replaced it with an Optima Yellow top and bam everything was working great as it once was. My friend needed a jump so low and behold I said yes. He hooked up the jumper cables wrong on his end so it shorted out. I checked all my fuses. The 80amp in the line is good, the 40 on one amp is good and the two 30s on the other amp are good. When you first turn the key on the amps light up for about 2-3 seconds and then soon turn off. If you pull the fuse out of the main amp the other one will light up but no music will play. Put the fuse back in and they both go off. What happened?

make sure that when he put the cables on your car he didnt turn your battery terminal so that the ring terminal for your power wire isnt touching the ground or anything else, or maybe it came loose I dont know I am just throwing out idea's that would happen after you jumped it.
