i have an orion 600D amp, and i want to power 2 alpine type r's. My amp is rated at 600 watts at 1 ohm. My question is, the new style alpine type R's are 500 RMS, and i would only be able to give them 300 RMS. Would they sound as good as the old style?
i just baught the amp... i was told that it would work out great with the old style, because they were 300 RMS...but then they came out with the new style, and its hard to find new ones of the old style...
well, i want to buy the two subs off ebay, but i'm having a tough rime finding old style ones, will it still sound good with only 300 RMS going to the new style? thats my worry...
