I was wondering if this would work just for a secondary (stereo only) battery, or would be nice for an all around battery. i have a fullsize chevy truck, which would start good with a meer 550 CCA. I dont think that it would fry my starter, even then i can put a 500amp circuit breaker on it or something. Dont know much about it other than its dry cell and huge. would the SP1700 work better? or should i just go for the big guy? I want a battery where i can go out to the lake and blare my music for hours without having to turn on my engine to charge the battery.
