Gold Member Username: James1115Wilton, Ct Post Number: 2376 Registered: Dec-04 | EBAY but remember any JL product bought over the internet has no warranty. |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 25 Registered: Apr-05 | do you think it is still worth it 2 get off the internet |
Silver Member Username: Bnd_rulezPhoenix, AZ USA Post Number: 432 Registered: Mar-05 | If you buy them at a retailer you are going to get assrammed. I would buy them from eBay, but make sure it is from a good seller with good feed back so you don't get jipped. |
Silver Member Username: Bnd_rulezPhoenix, AZ USA Post Number: 433 Registered: Mar-05 | How dumb is that, the filters on this site won't let you type feed back as one word..g@y. |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 26 Registered: Apr-05 | thanx dude |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 27 Registered: Apr-05 | which amps would you suggest i hav a pretty good budget |

Silver Member Username: Bnd_rulezPhoenix, AZ USA Post Number: 440 Registered: Mar-05 | Ext Cab? And if so, are you just going to cover it up? |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 33 Registered: Apr-05 | ext cab yea. what do you mean cover it up |
Gold Member Username: James1115Wilton, Ct Post Number: 2380 Registered: Dec-04 | I believe he meant cover the bed! I would run two JL 1000/1's if you have the budget. |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 35 Registered: Apr-05 | i can't fit those under the back seats? |
Silver Member Username: Bnd_rulezPhoenix, AZ USA Post Number: 444 Registered: Mar-05 | Either that or are you going to build a wall in the ext cab. I have one 10" in a Silverado Ext Cab, and it's more than adequate. I still want an Atlas though. |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 36 Registered: Apr-05 | so would you suggest not putting them under the seats or what? |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 37 Registered: Apr-05 | o yea and Longo, im not sure if it extends that much. what else would u suggest? |
Silver Member Username: Bnd_rulezPhoenix, AZ USA Post Number: 446 Registered: Mar-05 | It would be a fit. You probably have like 9" depth under that seat. I don't know how deep those subs are, but you would also have account for the box. It would be tight. |
Silver Member Username: RhasslerGilford, NH Post Number: 134 Registered: Dec-04 | i have two amps under my seats of my 97 f-150 lariat..... dunno if that helps lol |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 38 Registered: Apr-05 | what kind of box would u do? |
Silver Member Username: Bnd_rulezPhoenix, AZ USA Post Number: 448 Registered: Mar-05 | You could always put some washers under the bolts of the back seats to add some height. |
Silver Member Username: Bnd_rulezPhoenix, AZ USA Post Number: 449 Registered: Mar-05 | With those subs you have to go sealed, good rich sound. Sealed all the way, plus the sealed box will be smaller than a ported box. |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 40 Registered: Apr-05 | Thanx. So how do you think all this sh** will sound? |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 41 Registered: Apr-05 | And by the way thats a fu**in great idea about the washers. |
Silver Member Username: Bnd_rulezPhoenix, AZ USA Post Number: 451 Registered: Mar-05 | The W6V2 are awesome subs. You'll have one hell of a system if it's set up correctly. The major issue will be those subs. I don't know the mounting depth of those subs, but I think they will fit. You will want to do seperate chambers so the subs have their own air space. |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 43 Registered: Apr-05 | alright. where can i find out the measurements? |
Silver Member Username: Bnd_rulezPhoenix, AZ USA Post Number: 453 Registered: Mar-05 | You should be able to find them on JL's website. |
Silver Member Username: TheelfkeeperStockbridge, GA USA Post Number: 338 Registered: Feb-05 | the depth of thoes are just shy of 8 inches |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 44 Registered: Apr-05 | Power Handling: 800W Continuous Drivers: Two 10W6v2 Final Impedance: 4 Ohms Mono Dimensions: 12.75"H x 30.00"W x 11.35"D Notes: Sealed enclosure rear-firing design what do you think about that for box deminsions? |
Silver Member Username: TheelfkeeperStockbridge, GA USA Post Number: 339 Registered: Feb-05 | well, for the 12's anyway. idk what size your talking about |
Silver Member Username: Bnd_rulezPhoenix, AZ USA Post Number: 461 Registered: Mar-05 | Michael, you'll have to build a custom box. And you'll most like have to try and raise your seat a little bit. They may make prefab boxes for your style of trcuk, as know they make them for mine. |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 45 Registered: Apr-05 | alright thanx, ill have to find out how 2 build one. prefab? |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 46 Registered: Apr-05 | whats that? |
Gold Member Username: James1115Wilton, Ct Post Number: 2383 Registered: Dec-04 | pre-made. I would not put washers in the bolts of the back seats if you ever plan on having passangers back there, if you were to get into an accident that would completely compramise the integrity of the bolts and there ability to hold that seat from flying forward, or out. It sounds like a good idea but I would not recomend it at all. |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 48 Registered: Apr-05 | sh!t. thanx, so do u think i could find a premade box that could fit under my truck? |
Gold Member Username: James1115Wilton, Ct Post Number: 2386 Registered: Dec-04 | if they make one which I am sure they do for that truck. I would go custom with those subs over pre-fabbed. Pre-fabbed boxes have a tendensy to be sh!tty. |
Bronze Member Username: McazayouxNew roads, La United states Post Number: 51 Registered: Apr-05 | thanx man i appreciate all this sh!t. |
