when an amp says that it is like 2 ohm stable does that mean each channel is 2 ohm stable, i have an amp that says 2 ohm stable and 4 ohm brigeable
?????????

What that means is, it is 2ohms stable in stereo mode and 4ohms stable in bridged mode. This is normal for most amps.

ok well would it be better for my amp to be in stereo mode or in bridged mode and does stereo mode mean that it wants 2 ohm per channel of 1 ohm per channel to = a 2 ohm load total(channels combined)

Most amps run as low as 2 ohms on each channel. When you bridge an amp both channels are running together at 4 ohms. If you bridge at 2 ohms each channel is running at 1 ohms.Not good can burn the amp up. Stereo mode or bridged mode, I think most run speakers in stereo and subs in mono or bridged.

so 2 ohm stable means 2 ohm per channel-------of course 4 ohm bridged means 4 ohm bridged lol
