Home audio to car?

So EVERYONE here is wondering how to get their car audio working indoors. I, on the other hand, want to know the best way (if at all practical or possible) to get a pair of crappy home "bookshelf subs" (Yeah, the manufacturers actually classify them as bookshelf subwoofers) working in my car. I think they're both like 100 RMS, so I'd just be placing these in the backseat for their midbass, really. I know NOTHING about car amps, so anybody have advice? Please e-mail me at tad@tadknowsbest.com

Do these "bookshelf subs" have a amp built in them or just speakers. If there are just speakers what ohms are they.

These speakers are not powered. They're 8 ohms.
