IMO the Infinity comps are a little harsh, but
a lot of people enjoy them.
also, Id rethink the amps.
Plus, youre going to need about 500 bucks worth
of wiring and electrical system components to keep
your car from shutting off every 2 seconds.
Sweet HU for sure :-)

my bro gots the the kappas and i like the way they sound(i can get em new for 150 so thats another reason why im gettin them), but why rethink the amps? and i have a 250 amp alternator plus my stock alternator with a yellow top battery alrdy hooked up and have the amp kits for the 2 mtx amps(maybe i should stated this stuff in my 1st post)i figured with that alternator i wouldnt have to worry about my car shutting off every 2 sec.. lol

lol...yeah, you should be OK as far as electrical.
I dont personally like infinity amps, but itll work.
MTXs are good amps.
Look at the eD NINe 1 before you buy em tho.

Bench testing is a way to find "true RMS"
Thats the number you'll see on the
"birth sheet" that comes with Rockford and kicker
and such.
Basically bench testing uses an o scope,a dummy load(or a real speaker) and test tones
to see when clipping begins.
eD wont give you those numbers, but I know
people who have banched them to over 1500 watts.
anyhow...theyre better than anyone expected.

I meant "benched" not "banched"

the eD 9.1 amp can put upwards of 1600-1700 watts...being both underrated and rated at 12.5 volts, it has a potential of much higher than those numbers
