I got a mono amp hooked up to two subs i blew one of them so now my amp shuts off because of the blown sub. what would happen if i just disconnected the blown sub?
disconnect the blown sub, you're amp will then give all its power to that one sub, so hopefully your sub will be able to handle it, turn your gain down too and reset that setting if the wattage is a little over the RMS, try not to run it extremly hard if it is a little bit over. Leave your 2nd blown sub in the box, it should act as a passive radiator driver i beleive, it wont be much but it'll due until you can get a new sub or subs
