I have a 1999 Renault Megane with a "List" Tuner/Cassette Head Unit. Is it possible to connect a lead to the CD INPUT at the rear of the "List", so that I can play an iPod through the system, and what control (if any) will I have with the steering column controls? Does the "List" activate the input if it detects a signal there, or does it require a "proprietry" (i.e. Philips) device to facilitate the "handshake"?
