Friday, March 24, 2006 - 02:54 GMT Okay i got my new alternator put in like 2 weeks ago now. It is a 200 amp alternator and it brand new. And my headlights are still dimming, and pretty bad. All i am running is a pair of 12" xplods and a 800W peak (if that) kenwood amp. Also these cut out at random times in songs and come back after awhile. Are these two problems related. Maybe just a bad ground some where, or are my problems much bigger?

Friday, March 24, 2006 - 04:58 GMT Check all your grounds, for sure. Also, have you upgraded your big 3? This is critical when dealing with a HO alternator.

Friday, March 24, 2006 - 12:59 GMT I upgraded my wires to 4 gauge, for both grounding and power to my alternator. But i am not too sure what the big three are. Please fill me in. I am so annoyed with my disco ball car.
